A Sign of Relief

Joe and I met with my OB today about our concerns from our last visit. We have been praying like crazy during the last week (as have many of you), and we are happy to report that we both feel completely relieved after expressing our concerns and fears to the doctor. In fact, she is pretty awesome and took the time to explain everything that would be done in regard to the c-section--and the reasoning behind the procedures--in great detail. She felt badly that we were so anxious this week, but didn't want us to be uninformed about the range of situations that could occur. However, she is not facing my fibroid circumstance with a negative expectation of the outcome.

We were so happy that she discussed the role that faith plays in how we handle situations that come our way and it is nice to know that she is on the same page about that.

I feel SO much better having spoken with my doctor today and ready to take the next step toward mommyhood!! I think I'm actually letting myself get excited now! Thanks for your prayers.
