If you live in Chicago, you know what a big deal St. Patrick's Day is. And now that I am married into a family with Irish roots, I feel much more culturally inclined to embrace the day. But little did I know when I had breakfast with Colleen this morning at Anne Sathers (a SWEDISH restaurant) that we would encounter green icing on her cinnamon rolls. That's just weird. But Co did begin having contractions while eating them, so maybe there's something to the whole "luck o' the Irish thing."
