We are happy to announce the birth of Gavin Peter, Wednesday, April 2 at 8:58 a.m. Our boy weighed 7 lb. 4 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches. We think he is the cutest baby in all the world!! Thanks to all of you who prayed for a safe and uneventful delivery...things couldn't have gone better and I will post more of the details later this week. Suffice it to say that God has blessed us incredibly throughout the entire pregnancy and birth process, and now through our new baby. We feel like we have been living in a little warm bubble during our last five days at the hospital, and have enjoyed every moment with Gavin and our time visiting with friends and family.

Hey Laura! So glad to see your blog being updated! I've been checking each day...I hope you are healing well and I hope your time at home will continue to be the warm bubble you were talking about.
