He's a Heavyweight Champion!

We took Gavin to the pediatrician yesterday and he was a true weight-gaining champ! Over the course of four days he managed to gain seven ounces, putting him over his birth weight. Actually, I will take some of the credit here since I fed the kid just about every two to three hours for four days straight! Mama wants some sleep.

yeah!! I so know what you've been going through. Harrison was too far below his birth weight in the first week or so. He couldn't latch on properly so I has to supplement temporarily. I found a great breast feeding support group and that saved the day! Harrison was latched on and gaining rapidly in 3 weeks. I loved going to the group because we actually tracked his weight right there and I didn't have to wait for the ped. appointment.

So I'm glad all is going well.

I'll bet you want some sleep! You go girl! I was relieved to hear he is doing better. I don't have any experience with breastfeeding, but I know it can be an emotional rollercoaster! Keep up the good work and don't loose heart. You are an incredible mommy!
