What to Watch In NYC

Does anyone have any suggestions about a play that is worth seeing in New York City? Jersey Boys is sold out for the weekend we will be there (for our anniversary!), and Joe put the ix-nay on seeing Xanadu, the roller musical (and I quote, "This looks like three hours of pain to me"). But how can Xanadu be so wrong when songs like, "Suddenly" by Olivia Newton John are so right? Sigh.

We already have the food planned out. Thursday night dinner at Crispo for Northern Italian yumminess. A food tour of Chelsea Market for lunch on Friday. A visit to Craft for our official anniversary dinner on Saturday (go, Tom Collichio!). I'm sure we'll fit some other things in as well (Gramercy Tavern, Spice Market?).

Having fun requires so much advance planning if you're me.

Well if it were me, I would opt for seeing Chicago again, or Sunday in the Park with George, or possibly Legally Blonde - I've heard it's cute.
Others that I would enjoy again are, South Pacific (but I always get willy-eyed, I love the traditional musical) or Mama Mia' Have you seen Lion King, I think I've seen it 2 or 3 times. I know, crazy but I love it and the opportunity came up.

Enjoy! Can't wait to read about it!

Good thoughts, Rosie! I've seen Mama Mia & Lion King, but Chicago or Chorus Line might be fun...

Hi Dear Old Friend....
"Mama" Mia would be a hit (Chris & I loved it!). I've heard great things about Wicked...or maybe you could see High School Musical :)) That will be Peyton's B-day surprise. Chris & I have watched HSM & HSM2 (the movies)almost daily...and we love them almost as much as Peyton & Bailey (that's right even Bailey!). Of course Grease is still Chris' favorite :)

XOXO
