Another Precocious Story

Gavin's language is really exploding this week and he is comprehending how to string three or four words together to form sentences. Some of the things he says are hysterical and I can barely believe a 20-month-old child can process them. But then again, I wonder how much of what he says he fully comprehends?

He was in his high chair during lunch today, entertaining me with his little rendition of "Ice, Ice, Baby" (we believe in teaching him only the highest quality songs from the '80s), when he abruptly stopped singing and said, "Ice is frozen water."

Yeah, I doubt even Vanilla Ice knows that bit of information.
