Those of you who have known me for a while know that I am not a Halloween celebrator...for various reasons. However, I did dress Gavs up in this costume that his Grandmother gave him and took him out for a photo shoot in our courtyard. So cute! My kid may never trick-or-treat, but I'm all for using imagination and dressing up.
What's your take on Halloween?

He looks so adorable as a puppy! We were allowed to dress up and trick or treat, it was made clear that it was a fall festival celebrating the harvest. Most years the church we went to had a HUGE fall festival bash with a costume contest and cake walk and lots of fun carnival games. As a kid (and who are we kidding, still) I LOVED to dress up and gather up as much candy I could. After trick or treating my friends and my sister and I would sit in our living room dump out our hall and trade out our least favorite candies. It was a ton of fun!

I'm conflicted about Halloween. I'd prefer to just have a national dress up day :)
