I guess Gavin listens to our conversations more closely than I thought. While I was in Atlanta last week, Joe sent me an e-mail describing a conversation he had with Gavin--obviously absorbing all of our discussions about my gestational diabetes and all of the "testing" that mommy does with her blood.
Gavin drinking apple juice at Homer's:
Gavin: "This is not a good drink for me."
Daddy: "Why not?"
Gavin: "Because it makes my blood go high. It went up to 100. I can't swim with my blood that high. This morning my blood was good."
Daddy: "Oh, what was your blood this morning?"
Gavin: "It was really good. It was at 10."
Daddy: "Wow!"
